Argon Market Overview in Italy
In value terms, argon production amounted to $75M in 2010 estimated in export prices. Over the period under review, argon production continues to indicate a drastic contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2009 when production volume decreased by -2.9% y-o-y. Argon production peaked at $107M in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2010, production remained at a lower figure.
