Truck Market Overview in Italy
In value terms, truck production stood at $5.8B in 2010 estimated in export prices. Overall, truck production continues to indicate a sharp drop. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2008 when production volume decreased by -9.1% y-o-y. Over the period under review, truck production reached its peak figure level at $12.2B in 2007; however, from 2008 to 2010, production failed to regain its momentum.
