Hilding Anders has become successful as a sleeping giant. Europe's largest bedding manufacturer, Hilding Anders'subsidiaries make an array of mattresses. From squishy foam core to automated anti-snore mattresses,the firm'sproducts are sold throughout Asia and Europe by bedding and furniture retailers, under its own brands as well as private labels (a division is dedicated to the fabrication of mattresses specifically for IKEA). Other products include bed frames, pillows, nightstands, and headboards. Hilding Anders was founded in 1939 by Hilding Andersson and is owned by the British investment firm Candover. It has grown steadily through acquisitions, including Denmark's Dunlopillo in 2010.
