Upbound, formerly Rent-A-Center (RAC), is one of the leading rent-to-own chain nationwide. The company owns and operates some 1,850 company-owned stores throughout the US, and Puerto Rico under Get It Now, and Home Choice names. It also franchises about 445 stores through subsidiary Rent-A-Center Franchising International, under Rent-A-Center, ColorTyme, and RimTyme names. The stores rent name-brand home electronics, furniture, accessories, tablets, tools, handbags, smartphones, appliances, and computers. While customers have the option to eventually own their rented items. Almost all of the company's sales were generated in the US.
