The company serves approximately 725,000 customer locations in the US and internationally in the restaurant (standalone and chain), healthcare, education, and hotel industries, among others. Its nearly 335 distribution centers and approximately 17,000 delivery vehicles deliver branded and private-label food including among others fresh, frozen, and canned foods, dairy, beverages, seafood, and specialty and meat products as well as non-food items such as silverware, glassware, paper products, cookware, restaurant and kitchen equipment and supplies, and cleaning supplies. The US accounts for more than 80% of sales. The company was founded in 1969.
