Bell Textron, a subsidiary of Textron, also known as Bell is one of the leading suppliers of military and commercial helicopters, tiltrotor aircraft, and related spare parts and services in the world. Different models are suited for attack, utility, corporate, training, and public safety, as well as special operations, search and rescue, and troop transport. With partner Boeing, Bell produces the V-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft for the US Department of Defense, and also offers this aircraft to other countries under the US Government-sponsored foreign military sales program. The H-1 helicopter program includes a utility model, the UH-1Y, and an advanced attack model, the AH-1Z, which have some 85% parts of commonality between them. While the US Marine Corps is the primary customer for H-1 helicopters, it also sells these helicopters under the US Government-sponsored foreign military sales program. The US generates some 75% of the Bell's total revenue.
