Plains All American Pipeline (PAA) is a publicly traded master limited partnership that owns and operates midstream energy infrastructure and provides logistics services for crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGL). With some 39 million barrels of active above-ground storage capacity, the limited partnership is engaged in the transportation, storage, terminaling, and gathering of crude oil and NGL. Its portfolio includes some 18,075 miles of pipelines and a fleet of about 1,440 trailers, around 720 trucks, and about 2,100 crude oil railcars. Plains All American Pipeline has a presence in the major energy market hubs in US and Canada. Its prominent customers include Marathon Petroleum, ExxonMobil, and BP. Majority of the company's sales were generated in the US.
