Volvo Cars of North America is a subsidiary of Sweden's Volvo Car Corporation, itself is a subsidiary of China-based carmaker Geely Automobile and parent Zhejiang Geely Holding Group. It is one of the most well-known and respected car brands in the world with sales in more than 100 countries. Volvo Cars serves as the marketing, sales, parts, service, and technology and training arm of the 60-year brand for auto dealers in the US. The company sells premium-segment car models in a variety of segments: sedans (S60, S90), versatile estates (V60, V90) and SUVs (XC40, XC60, XC90, C40). Most of the company's revenue comes from outside of Sweden. Volvo Cars was founded in 1927.
