The Avon Company (formerly New Avon) is the leading social selling beauty company in North America. With a history stretching back some 135 years, the company makes and sells a wide range of skincare, color cosmetics, fragrance, personal care, and health and wellness products featuring brands such as ANEW, Skin So Soft, belif, CHI, and The Face Shop, as well as home essentials, fashion and accessories. Avon also offers jewellery, watches, apparel, footwear, and accessories. The company utilizes direct selling, with independent sales representatives across the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada. The company was founded by David H. McConnell in 1886. In early 2021, the company changed its name from New Avon LLC to The Avon Company.
