Genuine Parts Company (GPC) is a global service organization engaged in the distribution of automotive and industrial replacement parts. The company is the sole member and majority owner of the National Automotive Parts Association (NAPA), a voluntary trade association that distributes auto parts nationwide. GPC serves a diverse customer base through a network of more than 10,700 locations in more than 15 countries throughout North America, Europe, and Australasia. It offers outstanding service, an industry-leading assortment of replacement parts, extensive supply chain and distribution capabilities, and enhanced technology solutions. The majority of the company's sales were generated in the US. GPC was founded by Carlyle Fraser in 1928 with the purchase of Motor Parts Depot in Atlanta, Georgia.
