Description
Grocery wholesaler and retailer SpartanNash distributes approximately 90,700 stock-keeping units (SKUs) of nationally-branded and private-label products across all 50 US states through some 20 distribution centers. It operates a fleet of approximately 630 over-the-road tractors, about 335 dry vans, and nearly 1,215 refrigerated trailers. In addition, the company distributes goods to approximately 160 US military commissaries and more than 400 exchanges in the US and several other countries. On the retail side, SpartanNash operates more than 145 supermarkets under the Family Fare, Martin's Super Markets, and D&W Fresh Market. Spartan Stores began in 1917.
