Great Lakes Cheese is an award-winning, premier manufacturer, and packager of natural and processed cheese products. The company produces three categories of cheese: natural cheese, including cheddar, Swiss, mozzarella, provolone, and blue; processed cheese, such as American deluxe, cheese spread, cheese food, and cheese product; and snacking cheese, such as cubes, sticks, string, and much more. Swiss immigrant Hans Epprecht founded the firm in 1958 as a Cleveland bulk-cheese distributor. The Epprecht family owns the company and has over 4,000 dedicated employees.
