BearCom is bullish on the mobile communications market. The company sells and supports two-way radios, mobile phones and computers, surveillance cameras, barcode scanners, and other wireless communication equipment made by Icom, Motorola Solutions, BlackBerry, and Sony Electronics, among others. It also provides networking equipment, including mesh broadband networks and radio interoperability systems. BearCom sells to corporate and government organizations, primarily in the US, from about 30 branches. Customers have included Balfour Beatty, Exxon-Mobil, Hilton, and Suncor Energy. BearCom was formed by the 1995 merger between catalog retailer Page-Com and Bear Communications.
