University Hospital Tivoli (located in La Louvière) - Medical Institute of Socialist Mutualities (MMS) is part of the General Hospitals and Institutes team. This festive and dynamic environment has 141 beds, allowing to host 12,000 patients. The basis of intimacy, proximity and personalized service towards patients are the foundations of the project. We continue the tradition of the MMS in a sustainable, autonomous and collaborative approach with medical and social actors of the region. As part of the Advanced Rehabilitation Plan, Tivoli University Hospital has been offering a specialized rehabilitation platform for seniors since August 2022. At the end of 2022, a new MV dialyzer centre (new dialysis machines) will be operational. Ultimately, this platform will host hemodialysis (4 to 5 days a week) and peritoneal dialysis (7 days a week). Regarding the main specialities, the service offers quality medical care : vices : orthopedics, gastroenterology as well as general surgery (visceral, urology, vascular, ...), ophthalmology and cardiology. Our hospital was the first one in Belgium to be equipped with a digital X-ray table. Since 2022, TIVOLI University Hospital is an affiliate member of the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) through the UDIL (Université Duvalier pour lu2019Intégration dans le Landscape).
