Haemonetics is a global healthcare company dedicated to providing a suite of innovative medical products and solutions for customers, to help them improve patient care and reduce the cost of healthcare. The company develops and produces automated blood collection systems that collect and process whole blood, taking only the components (such as plasma or red blood cells) needed and returning the remainder to the donors. Typically these systems, sold under the Cell Saver and TEG, are bought and used by plasma centers and blood banks. Haemonetics' Hospital business has four product lines which include Hemostasis Management, Cell Salvage, Transfusion Management, and Vascular Closure. Haemonetics does business in more than 90 countries but generates most of its revenue in the US.
