Cimarex Energy's energy is devoted to oil and natural gas exploration and production. The independent is focusing its operations developing assets in two regions -- the Mid-Continent and the Permian Basin. The company has proved reserves of nearly 620 million boe (barrels of oil equivalents, including gas, oil, and natural gas liquids). Cimarex's daily production averages about 280,000 boe. The company's three biggest assets are the Watonga-Chickasha field in the Mid-Continent (nearly 30% of proved reserves), Dixieland in the Permian Basin (more than 20%) and Ford West in the Permian Basin (over 15%). Denver, Colorado-based Cimarex's customers include major energy companies, pipeline operators, local distributors, and other end users.
