Description

Vectren intends to inundate Indiana and Ohio with energy. Through its utility subsidiaries Indiana Gas Company (or Vectren North), Southern Indiana Gas and Electric (SIGECO or Vectren South), and Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio (VEDO) the company distributes natural gas to more than 1 million business and residential customers in the two states. It also distributes electricity to about 144,000 customers and almost 1,300 MW of primarily coal-fired generating capacity in Indiana. Vectren's other nonregulated businesses include management services, and utility infrastructure construction.
