New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc.

New Enterprise Stone & Lime supplies aggregates, lime, stone, and concrete products for a variety of applications. The company has dozens of limestone, dolomite, gravel, and sandstone mines; stone and sand quarries; and ready-mix concrete and hot-mix blacktop plants throughout Pennsylvania, western New York, and Delaware. It also performs array of construction services ranging from building bridges and roads to paving residential driveways. J. S. Detwiler and his son, Paul, began New Enterprise Stone & Lime in 1924. The company remains family-owned and is run by third- and fourth-generation Detwilers.
