APA maintains a diversified asset portfolio, including conventional and unconventional, onshore, and offshore, exploration and production interests in three geographic areas — the US, Egypt, and offshore the UK in the North Sea. APA also has active exploration and appraisal operations ongoing in Suriname, as well as interests in the Dominican Republic and other international locations. In 2021, Apache Corporation (Apache) and APA Corporation (APA) announced completion of the previously announced holding company structure, making APA the parent holding company of Apache. APA replaces Apache as the public company trading on the Nasdaq stock market under the ticker symbol "APA".
