Enka Insaat ve Sanayi is a global engineering and construction firm headquartered in Istanbul, Turkey. Operating through about 20 subsidiaries primarily in Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, and Turkey, the company builds airports, bridges, industrial plants, hospitals, petrochemical plants, power plants, shopping malls, and other large structures and complexes. It is the largest construction company in Turkey and ranked among the ENR's Top International Contractors since 1981. Enka provides full range of design and engineering, procurement, in-house welded fabrication, modularization, construction, commissioning and start-up, operation and maintenance, and project management services. Tracing its roots back to 1957, Enka was formally established in 1967. Tara Holdings controls the firm. Majority of its sales were generated in Turkey.
