The Whiting-Turner Contracting provides construction management, general contracting, and design/build, and integrated services, primarily for large commercial, institutional, and infrastructure projects conducted across the US. A key player in retail construction, the employee-owned company also undertakes such projects as biotech cleanrooms, theme parks, historical restorations, senior living residences, educational facilities, stadiums, and corporate headquarters. Its clients include the US Marine, FedEx Ground, IBM, Costco, Las Vegas City Hall, Yale University, Stanford University, and NASA Langley Research Center Headquarters Building, among others. Operates from more than 50 locations across the US, Whiting-Turner Contracting was founded by G.W.C. Whiting and LeBaron Turner in 1909.
