Description

Sixt is riding high as Germany and Austria's largest car rental company. It has some 2,000 company-owned rental centers in 100-plus countries. Its car hire business is supplemented by other products and services such as Sixt Rent A Truck, Sixt holiday cars, Sixt limousine services, and Sixt luxury cars. Sixt leases cars as well as refreshes its rental inventory by selling older models via Autoland, one of Germany's top used-car dealers. It also provides professional fleet management. The e-Sixt platform allows customers to reserve cars, buy used cars, or even manage an entire fleet via the Internet. Chairman Erich Sixt and his family own 60% of the company, which was founded in 1912.
