Lamra, based in Paracuellos de Jarama (Madrid), started its activity in 1997 as an importer and distributor of ingredients for the food industry (additives and mixtures) and for the manufacture of cosmetics and pharmaceuticals, representing prestigious companies in the European market. Since our foundation, Lamra has grown and diversified its business, expanding its portfolio of ingredients for the food industry and becoming the sole distributor of Lamberti (Italy) additives and mixtures in the Iberian Peninsula, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt and Jordan. Lamra also markets a wide range of functional ingredients, such as nutraceuticals, prebiotics, specialized vitamins and minerals, among others. We are official distributors of companies such as Algatech (Israel), manufacturers of AstaPure®, AstaPure® Arava and FucoPure®; Lallemand (Canada), manufacturers of Probioboost® and many other products for the food and beverage industry; Vitiva (UK), importers and distributors of natural colours and concentrates. It has also created its own brand, Nutelius®, for the distribution of nutraceuticals (such as L-theanine, GABA, alpha-GPC or quercetin) and other food ingredients. In the personal care sector, Lamra distributes raw materials such as Prodew® 400 (natural moisturising factor) or Rosa Mosqueta (rose hip) oil, as well as functional ingredients for this industry, such as Lactobacillus ferment, L-carnosine or Alpha-Bisabolol, and other ingredients such as caffeine, coenzyme Q10 or glucosamine sulphate. Its growth has been constant in recent years and has recently opened branches in Barcelona and Valencia. We also have a wide network of agents to offer our ingredients throughout the Spanish territory and abroad. Lamra has a quality department and its facilities meet all the necessary requirements to ensure food safety, as we have highly qualified professionals and continuous training.
