Yieh United Steel Corporation operates one of Southeast Asia's largest stainless steel mills. The company, informally known as YUSCO,produces a variety of steel products such as slabs, billets, plates, and coils at its integratedminimill. The company's steel melting operation can make about 1 million tons of steel slabs and billets every year. YUSCO then uses those slabs and billets in its hot rolling mill to produce some 900,000 tons of coils and plates and another 600,000 tons from its cold rolling plant. Yieh United Steel was founded in 1988.
