Aquafil produces high-quality synthetic fibers such as polyamide 6 and BCF. Aquafil recycled nylon is high quality and offers the same performances as virgin nylon, thus contributing to sustainable development, that is in Aquafil’s vision (“We produce yarn that won’t end up in the landfill.”). We have been working on nylon offering sustainable alternatives for more than two decades. Econyl, our 100% regenerated nylon obtained from nylon waste, represents our commitment to regenerate waste and create a circular economy for nylon. The social and environmental responsibility are fully integrated into Aquafil's strategic plan and business model. Aquafil promotes and defines initiatives regarding the circular economy, product stewardship, climate change, and sustainable innovation. One of these is the ECONYL® Regeneration System, which allows to save resources, energy, and raw materials by recycling pre and post-consumer waste into new nylon yarn.
