Sparrow Health System

Sparrow Health System is Mid-Michigan's premier health care organization that includes hospitals in Lansing, Charlotte, St. Johns, Ionia, and Carson City as well as Physicians Health Plan, Sparrow Care Network, Sparrow Medical Group, the Michigan Athletic Club, and AL!VE. The Sparrow Herbert-Herman Cancer Center is home to the only full-time clinical genetics counselor and genetics program in the region. The Cancer Center also houses the MRIdian linear accelerator, which is one of only a few dozen in the world. E.W. Sparrow Hospital, located in the same campus, is the sole Children's Miracle Network Hospital in the region. Additionally, it is the only Level I Trauma Center in the region, ranked #1 in Michigan. The hospital is also recognized as a Cardiac Center of Excellence and Michigan's first certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. It is one of about 20 such centers nationwide.
