Midland Paper Company (also known as Midland Paper, Packaging Supplies) is one of the largest independently-owned fine paper and packaging distribution companies in the country with nearly 20 stocking divisions, a thriving brokerage business, and more than 550 employees. It distributes a wide variety of papers, ranging from digital, sheetfed, and specialty papers to web printing, printing & imaging, and publication papers. These papers are produced by such manufacturers as FiberMark, French Paper, CTI Paper USA, Domtar, Kruger, and Kallima, among others. It also sells packaging supplies and equipment as well as janitorial and facility supplies (including towels, tissues, can liners, cleaning products, chemicals, and more). The company traces its historical roots to 1907 as a paper supplier to Chicago's graphic arts industry.
