Total Health Care, Inc.

Total Health Care, Inc., a private non-profit community health center, is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing comprehensive health, dental, and social services to medically underserved and economically disadvantaged residents of metropolitan Baltimore. Total Health Care, Inc. gradually expanded its health services to include dental care, an optical services department, a retail pharmacy, and an in-house laboratory. As more services have been added to the organization’s scope of services, so have community education programs on health related issues such as diabetes, asthma, STD’s, HIV/AIDS, obesity, nutrition, and child abuse prevention. Total Health Care, Inc. has also expanded its geographical base through the establishment of satellite sites so that health care services are conveniently available to residents of Baltimore City and the surrounding counties. Total Health Care, Inc. provides primary medical and dental care and a wide array of social and support services including chronic disease management, prenatal care, behavioral health services, smoking cessation, substance abuse treatment, podiatry, eye exams, eyeglasses, pharmacy, laboratory and radiology services.
