Besides India, key markets for Bajaj Auto are Africa, Asia, Europe, and Americas. Established in 1945, the company is the flagship firm of Bajaj Group, which also makes home appliances, lighting, and steel, as well as provides finance, insurance, and travel services. With more than 18 million motorcycles sold in over 70 countries; Bajaj Auto's domestic transactions accounted for about 50% of sales.
