Description
Combine quality, innovation and tradition - LEMKEN has been able to combine both for almost 240 years. Nowadays, the family-run company is one of the internationally leading suppliers of agricultural machinery for soil cultivation, seeding and plant protection. The company has its headquarters in Alpen, Lower Rhine, Germany and has 1,600 employees worldwide. Its success is based on continuous technological progress, close collaboration with customers, sound trading partnerships and dedicated employees. Decisive steps on the road to mechanization in agriculture were taken early on with the development of the one-way plough by LEMKEN in 1830 and the invention of the reversible plough by Rudolph Sack in 1837. In 2016, a complete range of mounted, semi-mounted and trailed cultivators was added with the purchase of Rauch Landmaschinenfabrik. This range was extended in 2017 through the acquisition of the plant technology product division of the Dutch company Steketee. With the takeover of the major companies in the machinery industry, LEMKEN rounded off its product portfolio and today offers all farming operations a complete range from soil cultivation to crop protection. The fundamental principle of the company is to produce technology at the highest level to support farmers around the world in their work, thereby contributing to global food production and the preservation of the living environment.
