Founded in 1876, Dai Nippon Printing (DNP) operates about 140 subsidiaries and nearly 25 affiliated companies which are primarily engaged in printing, lifestyle and industrial supplies, electronics, and beverages businesses. It uses manufacturing technology derived from printing technology and IT-based manufacturing management technology to provide a stable supply of high-quality, unique products. DNP's business consist of three business areas: Smart Communication, which provides printing, processing, and photo imaging solutions, among others; Life & Healthcare, which offers packaging, decorative printed materials, and mobility solutions; and Electronics, which offer Functional films, Industrial materials, Display components, and more. Japan generated the majority of its revenue.
