H. C. Schmieding Produce is a leading wholesale distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables. The company supplies primarily grocery store chains and independent retailers from two distribution centers in Arkansas and Florida. President Laurence Schmieding started the family-owned company in 1961 and heads a charitable organization called The Schmieding Foundation. Through their holding company, Schmieding Enterprises, the family also has interests in real estate.
