Dominion Transmission knows how to dominate a market in order to keep its customers happy. The interstate gas transmission subsidiary of Dominion Energy operates one of the largest underground natural gas storage system in the US; it maintains 7,800 miles of pipeline in Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. Dominion Transmission also has links to other pipelines, which makes its gas available to markets in the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and Northeast regions of the US. Customers include public utilities and power plants. It also operates one of the largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminals in the US, Dominion Cove Point LNG.
