Targa Resources Corp. is one of the leading providers of midstream services and is one of the largest independent midstream infrastructure companies in North America. The company is primarily engaged in gathering, compressing, treating, processing, transporting and purchasing, selling natural gas, gathering, storing, terminaling and purchasing and selling crude oil as well as purchasing and selling NGLs and NGL products, including services to LPG exporters. Targa owns or operates approximately 30,900 miles of natural gas pipelines and includes more than 50 owned and operated processing plants. It has a presence in many shale basins including the Permian, Eagle Ford, Barnett, Anadarko, Arkoma, and Williston. In 2022, Targa acquired Lucid Energy Delaware, LLC (Lucid) for $3.55 billion. This acquisition extends and further strengthens Targa's position in the core of the Delaware Basin.
