Campofrío Food Group has a leading position in the herd of Spanish meat packers. The company produces and sells processed and canned meat and meat products made from both pork and beef. Its products include fresh, processed, and cured meat and meat products, including Spain's cherished jamón(cured ham), as well as deli slices, sausages, frozen pizza, hot dogs, and prepared meals. In addition to its strong domestic presence, Campofrío's products are distributed across Europe, as well as in the US (via its 2012 purchase of Fiorucci Foods, now Campfrio Food Group America). The company was acquired in 2014 by Mexico's Sigma Alimentos (61%) and Chinese pork producer WH Group (37%).
