PRADA SPA

Italy, Arezzo, Terranuova Bracciolini
Description
The Prada Group wants its customers to either shop for their products til they drop, or go broke trying. The Italian fashion house was born from the marriage of avant-garde designer Miuccia Prada and boisterous Patrizio Bertelli and their leather goods and manufacturing businesses. Prada sells upscale apparel, shoes (Church's), fragrances, and accessories for men and women, as well as its less-pricey Miu Miu apparel line. The company operates more than 325 stores worldwide. It's known for being a risk-taker on the runway. Led by CEO Patrizio Bertelli, Prada raised about $2.5 billion in along-anticipated 2011 IPO. Prada boasts a Netherlands-domiciled parent company, Prada Holding N.V.
