Selling the luxury of leather footwear is Tod's forté. The Italian holding company owns a group of subsidiaries that design, produce, and distribute luxury consumer goods, including shoes, apparel, and leather handbags and accessories. Shoes, considered its core business, contributes about three-fourths of its total sales. Made in group-owned Italian production plants with partial outsourcing to specialized labs, its goods are sold under the Tod's, Hogan, and licensed Roger Vivier brands, while its casual wear is sold under the Fay brand. They are distributed throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America to directly-operated retail stores, franchised stores, and independent retailers.
