The company also provides food improving agents, including food emulsifiers, processed oils, natural colorants, and vitamin E for emulsification, anti-staling, foaming, coagulation, anti-sticking, texture improvement, coloring, nutritional enhancement, and antioxidant to food manufacturers; and chemical improving agents for anti-fogging, plasticization, lubrication, anti-static, thickening, cleaning, mold release, dispersion, and antioxidant. In addition, it offers health care products, including crocetin, a natural yellow colorant; mekabu fucoidan, a viscous ingredient; carotenoids; vitamin; and improving agents, such as pork extract. The company was formerly known as Riken Vitamin Oil Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Riken Vitamin Co., Ltd. in 1980. Riken Vitamin Co., Ltd. was founded in 1917 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

Nifty clocks fifth session of gains led by IT on Infosys buyback, US rate cut hopes

India's benchmark Nifty 50 closed higher for a fifth consecutive session on Tuesday, with gains led by information technology stocks on Infosys' share buyback plan and U.S. interest rate cut prospects. The Nifty 50 and the BSE Sensex gained 0.39% each to 24,868.6 and 81,101.32 points, respectively. IT jumped 2.8%, led by a 5% surge in Infosys after it announced plans to consider a share buyback on September 11.
