Huntsman Corporation manufactures differentiated organic chemical products. It offers chemicals and formulations, which it markets globally to a diversified group of consumer and industrial customers. Products are used in various applications, including those in the adhesives, aerospace, automotive, construction products, durable and non-durable consumer products, electronics, insulation, medical, packaging, coatings and construction, power generation, refining, synthetic fiber, textile chemicals and dyes industries. Key product lines also include MDI, amines, maleic anhydride, epoxy-based polymer formulations, textile chemicals, and dyes. The US and Canada are Huntsman's biggest market, accounting for about 40% of sales. The company started in 1970 as a maker of small polystyrene plastics packaging.
