It makes highly-engineered custom and pre-configured pumps, mechanical seals, valves and actuators that control the flow of liquids and gases. Flowserve also provides services that include installation, diagnostics, repair, and retrofitting. Flowserve's customers are in the chemical, oil and gas, power generation, and water management industries, as well as some others. It operates in more than 50 countries, and manufactures more than 225 different active types of pumps and nearly 195 different models of mechanical seals and sealing systems. Over 40% of its sales are generated from the US.
