Pilgrim's Pride is primarily engaged in the production, processing, marketing, and distribution of fresh, frozen, and value-added chicken and pork products under a host of brands (Pilgrim's Pride, Gold Kist, and Moy Park, among others). Vertically integrated, Pilgrim's Pride has a global network of approximately 4,800 growers, some 35 feed mills, more than 45 hatcheries, some 40 processing plants, about 30 prepared foods cook plants, over 25 distribution centers, ten protein conversion facilities, and five pet food plants. The company – which caters to retailers, distributors, and foodservice operators – is majority-owned by Brazil's JBS. The US accounts for about 55% of the company's revenue.
