Valero Energy is one of the largest independent petroleum refiners in the world and the world's second largest renewable fuels producer. Valero churns out approximately 3.2 million barrels per day, refining conventional and premium gasoline, diesel, low-cost diesel, ultra-low-sulfur diesel and other refined petroleum products. It operates approximately 15 refineries in the US, Canada, and the UK. It also has more than 10 ethanol plants with a combined production capacity of about 1.6 billion gallons per year. The company sells its gasoline and distillate products through bulk sales channels in the US and international markets. The US accounts for more than 70% of total revenue.
