Gulf Cement Company (GCC), a public joint stock company, is established under the laws of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. A public joint stock company which was incorporated in accordance with the provisions of Federal Law number 8 of 1984 regarding Commercial Companies as amended and the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah Emiri Decree number 2 of 2002 by Amiri Decree number 2 of 2002 issued on 24th March 2002. The company entered into commercial operation in 1979. The company’s present share capital is AED700 million fully paid up, comprising of 700 million ordinary shares with par value of AED1.00 each. GCC is one of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) oldest cement companies. The company is engaged in manufacturing, distribution and sale of ordinary Portland cement and sulphate resisting cement in the domestic as well as export markets. Company has an annual production capacity of 1.6 million tonnes. GCC two manufacturing sites use advanced cement manufacturing technology enabling it to produce high quality cement.
