Bergerat Monnoyeur is part of the international Bergerat Monnoyeur Group, one of the Caterpillar dealers with the longest history in the world. Founded in 1926, the group has its head offices in Saint-Priest (France). The BM Group is present in 17 countries. HEAD OFFICE The head office of Bergerat Monnoyeur Belgium is in Overijse. WAREHOUSES AND WORKSHOPS Bergerat Monnoyeur Belgium has 4 warehouses: Overijse (5,7 ha), Grâce-Hollogne (3,5 ha), Zwijnaarde (2,5 ha) and Dessel (2 ha). In addition, the company has 4 workshops at Overijse, Grâce-Hollogne, Zwijnaarde and Zandhoven. INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE Beside our operations in Belgium, Bergerat Monnoyeur is also strongly implanted in France (Bergerat Monnoyeur SA), Switzerland (Bergerat Monnoyeur Suisse SA), Poland (Bergerat Monnoyeur Polska Sp. z o.o.), the Czech Republic (Bergerat Monnoyeur CR, s.r.o.), Slovakia (Bergerat Monnoyeur SK, s.r.o.), Hungary (Bergerat Monnoyeur Kft.) and Portugal (Bergerat Monnoyeur Portugal SA). Bergerat Monnoyeur is also present in North Africa (Tunisia and Morocco via its subsidiary B.M. Maghreb) and in Ukraine via “Cat dealer UA LLC”. As such, Bergerat Monnoyeur has a direct presence in a zone covering a population of 123 million inhabitants. OUR PRODUCTS Our core business lines are the sale, rental, maintenance, repair of material for earthmoving, public works, quarries, recycling, energy, mining and road finishing. We offer the entire Caterpillar range: machines, engines, generator sets and alternators. The historic importance of the material offers an objective quality measure and, together with the support provided by the commercial network, ensures the continuing client satisfaction and loyalty at both regional and international levels. The Bergerat Monnoyeur branch in Belgium sells and rents three brands: Caterpillar, FG Wilson and Mecalac. OUR BRANDS Caterpillar is a global manufacturer of construction equipment, engines, turbines, natural gas engines as well as mining and locomotive diesel-electric equipment. The Caterpillar range includes dozens of machines and engines of different classes and types. Cat is known for its reliability, quality, and durability. FG Wilson is one of the world leaders in the power generation market. The brand has been dealing with generator sets for over 50 years, offering a wide range of products between a few kVA and 2,500 kVA. Mecalac is a French manufacturer of compact construction equipment. Mecalac has been in the top 10 European manufacturers of compact construction equipment for more than 10 years. Mecalac’s main challenge is to create and market machines with a unique design that allows them to excel in the most challenging urban environments. EMPLOYEES The Bergerat Monnoyeur group has more than 6,000 employees (including apprentices). There are more than 400 employees in Belgium. That makes Bergerat Monnoyeur the Caterpillar dealer with the most employees in the world. Within Bergerat Monnoyeur Belgium, approximately 50% of the employees work in the workshop whereas the other 50% work in the sales department, technical support, administration, spare parts or marketing. CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY The Bergerat Monnoyeur Group pays particular attention to health, security at work, human relations, and the environment in its activities. In 2014 the non-profit organization CSR Europe rewarded Bergerat Monnoyeur with the Silver Label for the Corporate Social Reporting. Bergerat Monnoyeur had already obtained the Bronze Label in 2010.
