One of the largest metal distributors in North America, Russel Metals operates three lines of businesses. Through its nearly 70 Canadian and US metals service centers, Russel Metals' primary business is processing and distributing carbon hot rolled and cold finished steel, as well as pipe and stainless steel and aluminum tubular products to the construction, and equipment manufacturing industries. Russel Metals' energy tubular products unit distributes flanges, tubes, valves, and fittings to the energy industry. The company also distributes steel products (plate, beams, and pipe) for large volume sales to steel mills and other distributors. About 60% of Russel Metals' sales comes from Canada.
