High Liner Foods Incorporated

High Liner Foods is the largest North American processor and marketer of value-added frozen seafood products, producing a wide range of products from breaded and battered items to seafood entrées. It peddles its products through retail food and club stores in Canada and the US. The company's most well-known brand names are High Liner, Icelandic Seafood, and FPI (processed frozen fish). Other brands include Mirabel, Sea Cuisine, Catch of the Day, and Fisher Boy. Although its roots are in the Atlantic Canadian fishery, High Liner obtains its seafood, raw material, and some finished goods for the operation from supply channels around the world. The company was founded in 1899.
