Cape Bald Packers Ltd was started in 1998 in Cape Bald, New Brunswick by Bernard Richard and his two sons, Pascal and Gilles. Our products are canned in Shippagan, New Brunswick, which is located in the Acadian Peninsula, the heart of the Canadian seafood industry. We primarily focus on mackerel, which is locally caught by members of the New Brunswick Inshore Fishermen's Association or bought frozen from suppliers in Norway. We are dedicated to maintaining our core values as a family-run business: trust, integrity, honesty, community, quality, and customer service. This allows us to provide employment for local people, grow our community, and utilize our location to specialize in premium seafood products. As a global provider of canned seafood, our products are enjoyed by people in Canada, the United States, Europe, and Africa.
