Chr. Olesen A/S was established by Christian Bendix Olesen at the City Hall Square in 1895, when butter trade was booming in Denmark. Olesen was quick to realise the importance of export to Hamburg, and in the 1900s, his business began exporting butter to almost all parts of the world. Chr. Olesen A/S celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2020. Having been family-owned for five generations, we are today one of the largest importers of butter in Denmark. Our customers comprise both Danish and international food industry companies. Beside butter, we also import cheese, eggs and other dairy products.
