IBSTOCK BRICK LIMITED

Ibstock has literally helped build Great Britain (and its own bottom line) brick by brick. The company, which started as Ibstock Collieries in 1899 to quarry clay and mine coal for brick manufacturers, is one of the largest brick manufacturer in the UK. With nearly 35 brick and concrete plants located throughout the UK, Ibstock's 1.2 billion annual brick production is used primarily in residential housing construction. Ibstock's brands include Forticrete (concrete roof tiles), Supreme (concrete fencing), Kevington (specialty bricks), and Anderton (concrete cable). In late 2015 Ibstock became a public company. It sold its US operations in 2018.
