Description
Li Ning Company wants to tumble into your life. It makes footwear, apparel, and accessories, primarily sold under its LI-NING and KAPPA brands. The group has an extensive distribution and retail network in China totaling about 6,000 stores. Li Ning manages its own stores and supervises franchised LI-NING retail outlets. It's expanding in the US through a joint venture with Chicago's Acquity Group. Li Ning also has a 50-year exclusive deal French firm AIGLE International to make, market, distribute, and sell AIGLE outdoor sports products in China. Chinese gymnast and chairman Li Ning, who won three gold medals in the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984, founded the company five years later.
